Be careful and research a practitioner before going in for treatment! You would be surprised to find out how many chiropractors, physical therapists and even massage therapists have had disciplinary action taken against them for unethical behavior. Even the best intentioned people change when money becomes involved. When it comes to insurance money, some practitioners see this as free money, there for the taking. Also be careful when it comes to choosing a lawyer. Again, do research before blindly signing any papers. Many lawyers work with clinics to maximize their profits and not your recovery. I have been in practice since 1999. I have seen hundreds of patients through to a complete recovery from their car accident. Unfortunately, many have come to me after having been robbed blind by the person that should have been only concerned for their health, instead of their insurance policy money. All therapy works, but you’ve gotta be willing to do the work outside of the clinic in order to become self sufficient.
